Rachmaninoff had big hands...

Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C# minor, Opus 3, Number 2, from Morceaux de Fantaisie was actually intended to be performed on two pianos and hence two pianists. It was first performed by the composer on October 8, 1892 and eventually became his most famous composition. His audiences would shout out "C-Sharp" at his performances (think "Freebird" and you'll get the idea).
