Iraq: The Women's Story
Two Iraqi women risked their lives to spend three months traveling with a camera to record the lives and experiences of women they met. The result is a compelling account of a life inside Iraq that is rarely, if ever, seen on United States news media.
Dispatches: Iraq: The Women's Story
is powerful in its simplicity as it documents stories of ordinary Iraqi women and their extraordinary struggle to survive since the war began. The horror of the destruction to property and human life (more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians killed by the time this film was made) tears at the heart of any sane, moral, compassionate person.
