Balance Your Job and Your Life

I know I am not the only one out here in the wilds of the internets that has issues with balancing my Life with my Work. Um, let me rephrase that just a tad. I have issues balancing my Life and my JOB. A Job is not (necessarily) the same as one's Work.

* A job is something you do primarily to earn money to meet your material needs and your "wants". A Work fulfills within you your Spirit's interests and goals and meets all your physical needs but not necessarily your "wants". (Wants versus Needs is a matter for another post)
* A job has little if any impact on your long term spiritual journey. A Work provides you with a spiritual satisfaction that you are doing what you were meant to do and it fuels your energetic being.
* A job is something you do without much investment of your true Self and many perform without a thought of Who They Really Are. A Work is a joy and never ending adventure of true Self freely expressed to its fullest extent.
* A job is for a specific time. A Work is for a lifetime and beyond.
* A job is for the benefit of your employer. A Work is for your own benefit and a completion of the invisible circuit that connects us to the Universal energies of abundance and oneness.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to go down that line of thought, but so be it. For today and this moment I remind myself of the difference (to me) between doing a job and performing my Work. Who said blogging was not therapeutic?

Wow, that made you think. I want balance and more minutes. LOL Trust me it's not working for me right now I'm working for it!

Be safe...

Lora ~ Hey! Long time no see, GF. Glad to see you roaming about Bonez once again. Are you continuing writing yourself?

Yes, the presentation does a fine job at making us take a moment and think about what we are doing with our time and efforts in both work and living. It's a message I personally need to keep hearing over and over again.

Peace Out!
