Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling gives details to events that happen after the book's final epilogue. Rowling said she may eventually reveal even more details in a Harry Potter encyclopedia.
Pope Benedict XVI says Creationism vs. evolution is 'absurdity' and that humans should be listening to 'the voice of the earth'. Maybe the Pope is more New Age than we first thought.
Is Oscar the death cat really the furry grim reaper? This cute feline has the uncanny ability to predict who's dying next at a nursing home. Once Oscar chooses someone they have less than four hours to live.
The real threat to America isn't terrorism. Over ten million Americans have died from preventable causes since 9/11.

If I see that cat coming towards me I am running!
I know, Blue... it's like some kind of a Stephen King story, isn't it? But, I think it might even be comforting to have Oscar come to visit and lay quietly beside as you pass over... Maybe he's sort of an escort to the afterlife.
I saw that Rowling interview, I was pretty intrigued with what she had to say..
I am doing my best to dodge the spoilers about book seven since I am only beginning to read book one this weekend. It's funny how I've suddenly got interested in reading the books after I put them off for so many years. I tried reading book one to my son when three was out and couldn't get past chapter one. Now I feel awful about what I've been missing.
The Deathly Hallows was a fantastic close to a great series. It answers all of your questions but still leaves you hungering for more.
The "hungering for more" is what troubles me, E. I am beginning book one this weekend and I am looking forward to reading the "whole" story.
Well, at least you have a slight advantage. Those of us who have followed all along have had the curse of waiting several years between books. You can just go at your own pace and it's all there, waiting for you. I think you'll enjoy. There's really not a bad book in the bunch.
As an addendum to your article, you might find this interesting. (Though you shouldn't read it, Tony.) This is a recent chat that JK Rowling did with MuggleNet and contains GOBS of information about the series and the wrapping up of it. Great read if you're a Potter fan.
