In my opinion, the other variation has far more impact and a stronger more clear message. In fact, many of the "good points" are left out of the posted version. This is a comedy routine, yes, but it is also a statement of belief and an attempt to point out the futility of man. I am sure there is some monkey psychologist out there that has a name for it :)
