Happy Holloween: Night of the Living Dead
What better way to celebrate Halloween than by watching for the umpteenth time George Romero's Night of the Living Dead? Produced in 1968 for only 114 thousand dollars it is considered a classic of the horror film and the beginning of the zombie sub-genre of horror films. Personally, I laugh much more than cringe in fright when watching it. The movie is very tame and childish by today's standards of the psychological gore fest I refuse to submit my tender psyche to. I have enough fevered dreams already without adding someone else's to the menu.
