The chilling yet sanitary depiction of a possible future confrontation between American armed forces and the North Korean army is meant to show off America's superior technology and firepower. I find it discomforting that this series of videos boldly selects a target that is an actual potential hotbed of future warfare and then fantasizes about how we could easily kill and destroy through the use of robots, computers, and technologies. Making war even more impersonal through the use of surrogate combatants and technology that allows troops to kill from greater distances without ever seeing the face of their enemy only seems to be leading to a path of increasing confrontations with a cocky over confidence of victory.
