John Lennon - Woman

This ode to wife Yoko Ono is introduced by John Lennon's whisper: "For the other half of the sky..." In one of his last interviews, Lennon described this song as an update of his 1965 Beatles song "Girl". "Woman" was the second single released from Double Fantasy and the first Lennon single released after December 8, 1980 when he was murdered by Mark David Chapman.
