Sheryl Lee, the Twin Peaks icon resurrected her Laura Palmer character to pose nude in a morgue for PETA’s ad declaring, “I Wouldn’t Be Caught Dead in Fur.” One full-length fur equals a lot of dead animals—60 minks, 40 raccoons, 17 coyotes, and 42 foxes. When asked why she finally chose to reappear as the dead Laura Palmer Sheryl said, “I’ve turned down a million offers to bring back Laura. It's only meant to arouse you against the atrocities of harming defenseless little furry critters and ripping their hides off to produce extravagantly over-priced needless fur coats for the elitists who have no heart for the preservation of our Earth and no sense of spirit for the unity and sanctity of all living things.
