Pencil Face was produced by the Savannah College of Art and Design along with a group of SCAD alumni that call themselves The Dandy Dwarves. It was written and directed by Christian Simmons and was released in May of 2008. Production photos and a behind-the-scenes video can be found here.
Yeah, that's exactly what makes this little film interesting -- the innocent-looking young girl and the suspiciously creepy and almost certainly malevolent "thing". I think it's just the right length too.
