Who would have thought that the director of the highest grossing film of all time would break his own record a scant 12 years later? Just about everyone that has seen Avatar agrees that it is a technological masterpiece. Many of those same people go on to say that the story is painfully cliché. Even worse though, is evidence that James Cameron was not only inspired by 1992's animated film Ferngully but (maybe subconsciously) copied some scenes verbatim. What do you think?
