World Community Grid

I and several other Bonez members have been a proud part of the World Community Grid for a long time. For those of you who may not know, the World Community Grid explains it best themselves with, "World Community Grid's mission is to create the largest public computing grid benefiting humanity. Our work is built on the belief that technological innovation combined with visionary scientific research and large-scale volunteerism can change our world for the better. Our success depends on individuals - like you - collectively contributing their unused computer time to this not-for-profit endeavor."

The World Community Grid effort focuses on several research projects like Fight AIDS @ Home, Nutritious Rice for the World, Help Conquer Cancer, Discovering Dengue Drugs, and Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2. You can select to donate idle computer (CPU) time to any single project or any combination of projects of your choice.

Consider joining the World Community Grid and donating your idle computer time to helping discover cures and treatments to help make our world a better and healthier place to live for all.
