Female Beer from a Vagina

Vagina BeerWho else but the girl from the liquor store would have the scoop on this new beer, developed by Heineken that is being tested in a few bars until October 28.

Charli a sparkling cider blend with 5% alcohol is specially made for women as surveys show that 63% of women don’t like regular beer.

Why they decided to create a special tap in the shape of a vagina is a mystery to me. I guess one has to be male to understand the logic behind it (if there is a logic to be found)

Funny detail, to be able to enter the Heineken site you have to select day, month and year of birth because you have to be over 18 to visit.

So a phallic tap would have been better? ;-)

well bonez... i am thinking maybe some of the guys will get a clue about the female genitalia if they have to sit there and look at it while they slug down the beers... and there are plenty of phallic taps... so it is a nice change ....

Good one, Marloes. I too fancy the vaginal design tap but found it funny that a drink made to lure women drinkers would prominently feature female genitalia. Curiouser and curiouser. But a "sparkling cider blend" isn't really beer now is it? So I guess it is okay to visually refer to it as a less than manly brew :)
As for what you found funny about Heineken screening viewers for their age. That's quite common in the U.S. as drinking age is determined by the individual states and is different for each. However, most allow beer drinking at age 18 thus the birth date to qualify viewers. Of course, any underage beer drinker wannabe will just put in a fictitious birth date anyway. So much for screening.

@ole Blue...a simple tap would be just as fine, maybe add a sparkle left or right to atract the ladies..:)
@Bonez, give me a good old Heineken anytime. I can't see this brew getting very far ..:)The genital thing will probably just agitate women

The best Heineken is cold from the tap in Amsterdam! That's good beer and totally different than the excuse they serve in the U.S. from a can.

@Tony, I drink to that!

Heineken in the US is skunky and unclean. I agree with Dr. Bonez. ;-)
