Noah's Ark has Docked in the Netherlands

Noah's ArkTours began in a replica of the biblical Noah's Ark in Schagen, Netherlands. Built by Dutch creationist Johan Huibers the ark is his way of bringing the thought of Christianity back to the Dutch peoples.

He is planning on building an even bigger one to take across the ocean. I am not a religious person, but I do admire his faith

Really? Wow, now that sounds like an interesting story. I would like to see him do it just from the human interest perspective. Yes, he seems to have a lot of "faith" or at least fervency in his beliefs. My experience has shown me that many of the Dutch are agnostic or even athiestic but religiously tolerant. BTW, where is Schagen?

Schagen is in the north-west, above Alkmaar. I was brought up Catholic but I lost my faith growing up. I believe that we are in this life with the purpose of being the best possible person you can be.

I am a catholic from the Island of Malta. I think this is a wonderful thing he has done. If the above is correct and dutch people are mostly not catholic, This is an important event, more so, than if was built in a Christian State. I hope he succeeds building his full size version. Anthony
