Corvettes? Hey, I know a lot of women who drive Corvettes, too!

Not in Europe they don't...

Funny, now that you mention it, I've only seen one Corvette in my travels of Europe and it was in Amsterdam parked in someone's driveway. The funniest thing about it was that it was parked right behind a Ford Mustang. I assumed that was symbolic of a Dutch person with lots of money who had a fascination with American muscle cars.

Nah...that must have been some brainless twit who thougth he could impress people with his cars. American cars 1)are way to big for our small roads 2) they use too much fuel 3) are not the safest things on wheels 4) too expansive to upkeep. Simple really.

I agree on most points, Marloes, but have seen a tendency the last couple of years for larger vehicles in Europe which surprises me when one considers the amount Europeans pay for petrol. I believe it would be six dollars a gallon in the US... maybe more. So, how in the world can someone be driving a huge four-wheel drive Landrover through the narrow streets of Amsterdam?!? But I see more all the time.

More brainless twits who have more money then sense Im afraid Tony. They should ban driving through the center of Amsterdam. Al those fumes are destroying the city.
